More than 90% of our museum is powered by volunteers. Whether you enjoy greeting visitors, sharing history, or helping behind the scenes, we’d love to hear from you.
There are many ways for you to volunteer at Silver Reef. It takes a lot of effort to keep historical items from the late 1800s in pristine shape. It also take a lot of time to keep a museum going. The following are ways you can help.

It takes a lot of time and effort to keep the museum active, welcoming, and interesting for everyone who visits, and we simply couldn’t do it without people who are willing to lend a hand. Whether you enjoy working with visitors, prefer helping behind the scenes, or like being outdoors, there’s a place for you here.
Opportunities to help change throughout the year, and some are ongoing while others come up around special events or projects.
