Saturday, March 27, 2027 – 10am

A Cosmopolitan Event at Silver Reef

The Usual Suspects are the various sedimentary layers found throughout Southern Utah. This presentation will explain how to identify these famous rock layers that geologists call “formations”, such as Navajo Sandstone, Kayenta Formation, Kaibab Limestone, etc. These formations are responsible for creating Utah’s scenic landscapes and attract sightseers from around the World. For residents of Southwest Utah that would like to know more about the scenery they live amongst, this presentation is a “must see”.
